Linn Lorkin

This unique singer-songwriter-chanteuse-raconteuse is one of NZ's most loved performers.  Equally at home singing in English or in French, she has nevertheless a truly "kiwi" background as a dairy-farmer's daughter from the South Waikato, New Zealand.

With French Toast, The Jews Brothers Band, Happy Talk, First Ladies of Jazz and as a member of the legendary Inside Out Theatre she has thrilled audiences over a long and productive career. As a jazz singer-pianist and songwriter, she has written many songs set in Europe, New York, and New Zealand ( her iconic "Family at the Beach" was voted Best Kiwi Summer Song
in a recent National Radio Listeners' Poll)  and has played at Ronnie Scott's in London and in many a New York piano bar. Her new one-woman show, The Happy Hour and a Half, is set in the latter city and was premiered in Berlin in 2009
